Phoebe

Phoebe, launched in late 2009, is the third of Moonen’s Fast Yacht Series, though it is five feet longer than its sister ships. Phoebe is built of lightweight Sealium, a strong and corrosion resistant aluminum alloy, and was designed to run at 26 knots. Rene van der Velden did the exterior styling on the perky, aggressive-looking motor yacht, incorporating a large flybridge and protected cockpit into the design. Interior designer Rhoades Young gave Phoebe a fairly subdued, classical look with rich walnut and contrasting white surfaces. The yacht has a spacious salon and large full-beam master suite with an open plan. Bulkheads have also been moved to increase the size of the VIP suite, and the added length of the yacht went to enlarging the crew’s quarters.
