Sea Bass

Poland-based builder Sunreef has been experiencing a growth spurt since it began building luxury sailing catamarans five years ago. Sea Bass, delivered to American clients in summer 2009, is one of the first power catamarans the Gdansk shipyard has produced. The semi-custom Sea Bass includes twin master suites, both en suite, and two VIP cabins. A fifth cabin for captain and chef is at the stern. Sunreef's designers made good use of the sheer acreage a 70-foot catamaran provides (its beam is 30 feet) with an elegant salon, excellent entertainment center, and high-tech electronic infrastructure. Catamarans are gaining popularity in Southern Florida, where Sea Bass is based, because of their speed (26 knots) and comfort. One can sprawl on a big cat, more than on any other boat. Sea Bass will also be available for charter in the Bahamas.
