DSP-8000 Powered Speaker

Meridian tends to be conservative in its claims, but the company could legitimately tout the DSP-8000 as the world’s most technically advanced speaker. Digital electronics refine the sound of the DSP-8000’s five internal 100-watt amplifiers, six 8-inch woofers, and midrange and tweeter drivers.

Special Features: Although the DSP-8000 can be connected directly to digital audio sources, it works best when used with Meridian’s own digital preamplifiers and surround-sound processors.
