    When Mario Buccellati founded the family goldsmith business in 1919, he created a signature style that drew upon Renaissance-period techniques to craft intricately textured gold jewelry. Coined the Buccellati style, his designs remain the foundation of the prestigious jewelry and silversmith company today. Buccellati’s heirs have carried on in the same fashion with artistic and intricately handmade gold jewelry but with their own interpretations. Signature Style: Artistic use of gold in lacy, open-work designs, and ornate pieces appointed with diamonds and gemstones.
