Hotel Martinez

    Every May, directors, producers, critics, and actors vie for rooms at Hotel Martinez, the premier address in Cannes, France. The Art Deco-style hotel overlooks the Bay of Cannes a few blocks from Palais Festivals et des Congrès, host of the city’s annual film festival. In the first-floor Suite de Oliviers, a 2,500-square-foot terrace affords views of the sea, the palm-lined boulevard La Croisette, and the Martinez’s private beach. The hotel’s Michelin-two-star La Palme d’Or serves modern Mediterranean cuisine in a Dining room decorated with black-and-white photographs chronicling the 58-year-old festival. Dining With a view overlooking the Bay of Cannes, La Palme d’Or brings guests from all over the world to sample chef Christian Sinicropi's cuisine.
