Jade Mountain

All 24 rooms at Jade Mountain, a resort-within-a-resort at the 600-acre Anse Chastanet on St. Lucia, have generously sized pools. The infinity-edge features—none of which is smaller than 400 square feet, and the largest of which is 900 square feet—offer a unique perspective of the Caribbean island’s famous pair of landmarks, the Piton Mountains. Accommodations From inside any of the 24 rooms—neither a wall nor a sheet of glass interferes with the vista, which also is unmarred by the technological distractions of televisions, radios, and telephones. The Celestial Terrace, the resort’s top floor, replaces the confines of a ceiling with the open sky. Recreation Sunrise and sunset yoga classes take place on the Jade Mountain Celestial Terrace nearly every day. Dining The Jade Mountain Club serves Caribbean cuisine from the very top of Jade Mountain. Worthy Diversion Botanical gardens and a drive-in volcano are a close distance away. Rates During the high season (December 20th through April 15) prices range from $1,450 to $2,050.
