Little Palm Island Resort & Spa

Guests travel to Little Palm Island Resort & Spa by seaplane or ferry—the latter a reproduction of a 1940s-era wooden cigarette boat. Swaying palms and gardens of bright blooms border the resort’s thatch-roof bungalows, which house one-bedroom suites with living rooms and private terraces. Recalling a mid-century retreat, Little Palm Island has no cars, the suites lack televisions, and the phones provide only intra-island connection. Accommodations The 30 oceanfront suites feature king-size beds, indoor and outdoor showers, and private terraces. Recreation Equipment for windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing is at your disposal on the beach. Dining The beachfront dining room at Little Palm offers an ever-changing menu. Worthy Diversion Explore the reef at nearby Looe Key, a marine sanctuary where divers can swim with more than 150 species of fish. Rates One-bedroom suites range from $750 to $1,600 in the high season, $600 to $1,300 in the low season. The two Island Grand suites cost $2,100 in the high season and $1,400 in the low season.
