    With its precision jumping-minute counter, fly-back mechanism, column-wheel gearing, 18,000 semi-oscillations, and outsize date, A. Lange & Söhne has given the chronograph a new look with the Datograph. Inside Information: Adolph Lange was building chronographs with a column-wheel construction as early as 1868. The Datograph was first presented in 1999, only five years after the comeback of the traditional Saxonian watch brand.
