Patrimony: Traditionnelle and Contemporaine

With its round cases and timeless classicism, the Patrimony line harks back to the purest tradition of watchmaking. Patrimony Traditionnelle embodies the fundamental values of Vacheron Constantin: a fine bezel; knurling around the case back, which features a screw-down sapphire crystal; faceted trapezoid hour markers (at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock); historically inspired dauphine hands and dials in several silvered tones; and a case and tiered horns with clean, straight lines. Sophistication and elegance are conveyed through the slender cases inspired by the ultrathin models in the Patrimony Contemporaine line. The distinguishing features of the models in this line are taut curves, slim profiles, large diameters, slender trapezoid hour markers, baton hands, domed dials, and a minute track beaded with gold cabochons. Inside Information: The Patrimony Traditionnelle Calibre 2755 is based on the manufacture’s stunning Tour de l’Ile. Complete with a minute repeater, perpetual calendar, and tourbillon, this watch is 44mm in diameter.
