Tasting notes: Powerful and silky with exquisite black cherry, this wine possesses power and extreme elegance. Worth knowing: Le Corton produces some of the most sinewy, complex red wines in Burgundy, and they generally need extended time in the bottle to show well. This is especially true in great vintages, such as the exceptional 2005.
