Though their approaches may differ, each of the following companies is attempting to apply the concepts of fractional ownership and shared access to the world of private golf.

The Eden Club
- Unlimited complimentary golf on the links courses (Old, New, Jubilee, Eden, and Strathtyrum) at St. Andrews in Scotland
- Seven nights’ accommodations per year at the club-owned Strathtyrum House, the Old Course Hotel, or any of several dozen resorts worldwide
Seven complimentary rounds of golf per year at either the resorts above or private clubs
- Invitations to participate in the club’s annual tournaments at venues such as the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., and Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa.
- Year-round use of the club’s secretariat to arrange any golf or travel

Associated Clubs International
- Signature Gold Unlimited program includes complimentary rounds of golf (cart and guest fees not included) at nearly 200 private and semiprivate clubs operated by Club Corporation of America
- 20 percent discount at CCA-owned resorts, which include Pinehurst in North Carolina, the Homestead in Virginia, and Barton Creek in Austin, Texas
-  Reservations service to arrange travel and tee times

Fees: Requires a primary membership at one of CCA’s country clubs (prices vary by club) and monthly dues of $25 to $50

- Participation in Tour GCX tournaments and special events

Exclusive Resorts
- Exclusive Resorts is a residence club program, but to complement the more than 200 vacation homes open to members, the company has purchased golf memberships at private golf clubs near several of the residences. Guests staying at the homes have membership privileges at the private clubs.

Fees: $375,000 plus annual dues from $15,000 to $25,000, depending on usage
