FrontRunners: Slide Ruler

From Hublot Genève, the watch company and oft official timekeeper of downhill racing events, comes the $10,500 Hublot Sledge (www.hublot.com). Created in collaboration with Graf Sleds and the ECAL fine-arts school in central Switzerland, the design is a sophisticated take on the competition sleds used in natural-track luge racing. The sled, which will be limited to 10 examples, is made from Swiss ash hardwood and includes a sleek leather seat, carbon-fiber handles, and steel runners that function like downhill skis.
