Leading Hotels Caters to the Passionate Golfer

The Leading Hotels of the World has exercised its international clout in the world of golf to create a multi-platform, global golf initiative. Created in collaboration with Perry Golf, one of the world’s most popular golf and travel experts, the newly established Leading Golf program offers luxury travelers a variety of customized options to suit every golfer’s needs—from single-destination “Stay-and-Play” packages to multi-stop custom-designed touring.

An integral part of Leading Golf is the exclusive Signature Events Series for Leaders Club members, which will combine the best in golf and travel through predesigned excursions to some of the world’s finest resorts. The first of three Signature Events planned for 2010 will be held August 10-14 at the Old Course at St. Andrews in Scotland, known the world over as the legendary home of golf.  In addition to being afforded the opportunity to play the historic course, the four-day itinerary includes specially planned dinners, wine tastings, and Champagne receptions. While golfers take on the majestic Scottish fairways, non-golfers can unwind at the Kohler Waters Spa, learn the art of Scottish cuisine, or tour the famous Glamis Castle. Priced at $4,995 for golfers and $3,295 for non-golfers. (877.885.2515, www.lhwgolf.com)
