Silverado Renovates Its Two PGA Golf Courses

Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa Valley will unveil its two newly refurbished 18-hole PGA championship Robert Trent Jones Jr.–designed golf courses in April. The 6,685-yard South Course has more elevation changes through its foothills, larger landing areas, and a reshaped fairway line, edging, and grooming. Silverado’s tree-lined North Course has new bunkers and tees to extend its length to a total of 7,100 yards, and the turf was restored to its original rye and Kentucky bluegrass condition. The 360-acre estate’s two 72-par golf courses have hosted many celebrated events including the 1989 to 2002 Senior PGA title, and have welcomed golf legends Jack Nicklaus, Ben Crenshaw, and Silverado’s leading investor and World Golf Hall of Fame member Johnny Miller.
