Tee Off in Mexico

Three new coastal-community golf courses made their debuts recently in Mexico:

Paraiso del Mar: Opened in May, the Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest–designed course at this 1,700-acre residential community in La Paz features views of the Sea of Cortés. (www.paradiseofthesea.com)

Puerto Los Cabos: Jack Nicklaus designed nine holes of Puerto Los Cabos’ new golf course, and Greg Norman designed the other nine. Eventually, the 2,000-acre community in San José del Cabo will include 18-hole courses by both golfers. (www.puertoloscabos.com.mx)

Punta Mita Club de Golf: Jack Nicklaus’ second course at this development north of Puerto Vallarta opened to homeowners and guests of the property’s two hotels—a Four Seasons and a new St. Regis—in November 2008. (www.puntamita.com.mx)
