The World Offers Golf Excursions

The World, the private residential community aboard a luxury yacht, is offering two- and three-week golf voyages this summer. Destinations include Mexico, the Pacific Northwest of the United States, Australia, and Japan. Included in the package are accommodations within the 165 private residences (each available for short-term rental), dining, and three to nine rounds of golf. While onboard the ship, guests can practice on one of the three artificial-grass greens, a simulator portraying more than 50 of the world’s most famous courses, or take lessons from the World’s on-deck golf pros. Example itineraries include a trip from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Anchorage, Alaska ($19,425 per person), July 16-August 6, which features nine rounds of golf at the area’s top courses including Muskeg Meadows and Valley of the Eagles.
