Thirty-four Exclusive Timepieces for Sale

Laurie Kahle

For connoisseur watch collectors, the ultimate coup is a unique timepiece—a number one of one. On September 24, watch aficionados will have an opportunity to bid on 34 of these rare one-of-a-kind pieces during the live Only Watch auction held at the Monaco Yacht Show to raise money for research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a debilitating genetic disorder that affects boys. Watchmakers—from old-guard stalwarts including Patek Philippe and Breguet to upstart artisan operations such as Confrérie Horlogère (by BNB Concept) and MB&F—poured their technical and creative resources into creating this array of unique men’s and women’s watches in addition to two table clocks. You can preview these rare pieces at New York City’s Tourneau TimeMachine from September 10-12 or on the Patrizzi Auctioneers Web site. The watches will be on view in New York at Tourneau TimeMachine Thursday September 10 through Saturday September 12 from 10 am to 6 pm. The auction will open at 12 p.m. EDT on September 24 with simultaneous online bidding at www.patrizziauction.com. One hundred percent of proceeds will benefit the charity. (For more information, contact Patrizzi & Co Auctioneers USA, 646.763.8880, www.patrizziauction.com.)
