A New Spin on the Smokers’ Retreat

Cigar lovers can now take their smoke with a shave at the Havana Club in La Quinta, Calif. This new cigar lounge-meets-barbershop, which opened in September at La Quinta Resort & Club, features 14 lines of seasonal cigars from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Honduras (about $10 to $55 per cigar), and a grooming menu that includes haircuts, shaves, facials, manicures, massages, shoe shines, and more (about $10 to $40).

The expansive club offers both an indoor lounge and an outdoor patio for smoking, flat-screen TVs, a walk-in humidor, 12 cigar lockers (at $500 per year), and cocktail service. Havana Club also places special orders based on guests’ cigar requests. (760.564.4111, www.laquintaresort.com)
