Anantara Sanya Resort and Spa has opened on the southernmost tip of China’s Hainan Province situated between a lush mountain region and the South China Sea. The seaside property has 122 rooms and suites, including a number of pool villas, each inspired by East Asian and Thai design. It has four restaurants that put a contemporary Western twist on traditional Asian fare. The Anantara Spa offers a variety of treatments, including many that draw on Chinese tea rituals.
