Capturing Aspen: The Little Nell Photography Adventure

  • Elianna Wasser

The Little Nell, the renowned Aspen hotel, is hosting a Fall Photography Adventure—a two-and-a-half-day workshop led by photographer and Colorado native Peter McBride, whose photos have appeared in National Geographic and Smithsonian magazine. Offered from September 11 to 14 (about $2,300 per person), the workshop comprises outdoor excursions to photograph Aspen’s famous landscape, lessons on how to enhance and correct photos, and more.

The package also includes three nights at the Little Nell, picnic lunches with wine pairings, and receptions with McBride, whose images from his recent photo book on the Colorado River have been on view throughout the resort for the last year. The Fall Photography Adventure is part of the Little Nell’s new seasonal outdoor adventure series; other activities will include mountain biking with pro cyclists, fly-fishing, and other pursuits.
