Holiday Baking Classes at the St. Regis

St. Regis is celebrating the holiday season with hands-on baking classes led by renowned pastry chefs at two of its East Coast locations. Located only two blocks from the White House and dating back to the mid-1920s, the St. Regis Washington, D.C. will host a Thanksgiving-themed class November 13 and a winter-inspired class December 4, where noted pastry chef Fabrice Bendano, will lead private classes of about 14 through the preparation of seasonal desserts like pumpkin and chestnut macaroons, almond financier cakes, and chocolate soufflés. Both classes take place from 11:30am to 1:00pm in the kitchen of the St. Regis’ restaurant, Adour, and cost $75 a person.

At the St. Regis New York, French pastry chef Sandro Micheli will host a class of 10 on November 19 featuring holiday baking. Taking place in the hotel’s Adour Alain Ducasse kitchen from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, this class costs $125. As an added treat, dine at Adour Alain Ducasse that same night, and the desserts you made will be served as the final course.
