It just got a little more fun to dine at Scarpetta, the Italian restaurant at the Montage Beverly Hills, with the hotel’s new Be Our Guest package, which offers guests one complimentary night at the hotel when they book two nights of accommodations and a table at Scarpetta. The Italian restaurant has been in the spotlight recently since its high-profile executive chef Scott Conant has been hosting the television show 24 Hour Restaurant Battle.
The complimentary night is designed to encourage both locals and visitors to experience some of the hotel’s new and established signature offerings such as a pastry class with celebrity chef Richard Ruskell for a hands-on course in making cookies, cake, mousse, cream puffs, and more. The hour-long class is $50 per person. Another new attraction is the Ten Pound lounge, the official outpost of the Macallan in the United States, and the only place in the world to buy one shot of the Macallan 64 Years Old whisky, priced at $64,000 per shot. New to the Montage Beverly Hills’ list of in-house wine experts is Darius Allyn, the 60th American to earn the prestigious title of Master Sommelier. He’s available for consultations on the hotel’s expansive wine list—with more than 11,000 bottles and 800 labels from around the world.
