Casa San Agustín, a new luxury hotel composed of three renovated colonial homes, opened on October 1 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. Located within the 11 kilometers of walls surrounding the Old Town—a preserved UNESCO World Heritage site, situated on a bay in the Caribbean Sea—the property comprises 22 rooms (from $500) and eight suites (from $770), some with plunge pools or Jacuzzis, as well as a Latin restaurant, a poolside lounge, and a library decorated with original fresco paintings.
