Sneak Peek: Eden Roc at Cap Cana, Dominican Republic

Amanda Millin

A new five-star Dominican Republic resort, Eden Roc at Cap Cana, opened this month. Situated on 30,000 acres, the boutique hotel is a convenient 20-minute trip from Punta Cana International Airport and private jet landing strip. It has 33 beachside, freestanding suites and three bungalows—each with its own pool and private massage area. The Royal Suite, adjacent to a private lagoon, offers its own gym and sauna. Rates start at $600 per night. The property has three Jack Nicklaus–designed golf courses, and five on-site restaurants offer a variety of cuisines. Other amenities include a private beach, tennis courts, a spa and gym, two outdoor swimming pools, and horseback-riding excursions. An on-site, full-service marina ensures plentiful water sports and deep-sea fishing opportunities. (809.469.7469, www.edenroccapcana.com)
