Ett Hem, a 12-room historic townhouse in Stockholm, Sweden, has opened as a private hotel (from about $550 per room per night). As an alternative to the standard hotel experience, Ett Hem provides guests with a kitchen stocked with food, wine, and Champagne daily, as well as a lunch and dinner menu for more formal meals, which can be served in the bar, lounge, or outdoor garden. There is also a spa, sauna, gym, and library, in addition to a car for guests to use. (+46.820.0590, www.etthemstockholm.se)
