Sneak Peek: Inn at the 5th, Eugene, Oregon

Eugene’s first new downtown hotel in 28 years, Inn at the 5th, opened earlier this month. Located on the west side of the Fifth Street Public Market (the city’s famous outdoor shopping area), the $11.7 million boutique hotel is steps away from several home, gift, and specialty stores. Its 70 pet-friendly rooms and suites, which include the Grand Terrace Spa Suite and its rather unexpected 10-person shower, all have balconies, and most offer gas fireplaces. Other amenities include a salon and spa located off the lobby and a chauffeured Mercedes Sprinter for trips to and from the airport and within a four-mile radius of the hotel. Rates range from $189 to $589 a night. (855.446.6285, www.innat5th.com)
