Sneak Peek: InterContinental London Westminster

  • Jenna Hockema

InterContinental London Westminster opened in November with 256 rooms and suites, many of which offer expansive views of the nearby New Scotland Yard and Westminster Abbey. Located in the heart of the United Kingdom’s political and cultural center, the hotel is home to the Blue Boar Smokehouse, which reinterprets U.S. barbecue techniques with an unmistakable British influence. Another alternative is the Blue Boar Bar, a luxurious take on the classic English pub, offering up various libations along with small plates of traditional pub food. The hotel also has a 24-hour fitness center. Rates start at about $380 a night. (+44.203.3018080; www.ichotelsgroup.com/intercontinental/en/gb/locations/westminster)
