Sneak Peek: Kingsford Homestead, Barossa Valley, Australia

Elianna Wasser

Kingsford Homestead opened in July in the Barossa Valley wine region of Southern Australia. Originally a 19th-century sheep station, the 225-acre property features a main building with six suites, a farm-to-table restaurant, a detached cottage with a lounge room, and a private walled garden, all of which overlook the Barossa Valley and the North Para River. Activities include wine tours at surrounding vineyards, hot-air balloon rides, golf, and nature walks where guests can see the property’s kangaroos. Rates start at about $800 per night.
