Sneak Peek: Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco

In August, the Mandarin Oriental in San Francisco, which celebrates its 25th year, unveiled an expansive new fitness center and two presidential suites, each with a large terrace. In September it will open a new spa. It’s all part of the hotel’s extensive renovation that began in the spring with the addition of a 90-seat restaurant, Brasserie S&P, which serves locally sourced San Francisco fare; a new travertine marble lobby; and 158 refurbished guest rooms, which start at $395 per night and offer views of the city or the bay.
