Sneak Peek: Ritz-Carlton, Montreal

The historic Ritz-Carlton Montreal reopened on June 1 after an extensive restoration to the 100-year-old building’s facade, lobby, ballroom, garden, and more. The hotel also unveiled new features, including an indoor saltwater swimming pool and a wing with 45 residences, as well as some high-tech features—such as motion-sensor-activated lighting and heated floors and counters—throughout its 98 rooms and 31 suites. Room rates start at $440 per night. The hotel’s restaurant Maison Boulud offers two private dining rooms, in addition to a greenhouse and an outdoor terrace overlooking the renovated gardens.
