Sneak Peek: Rosewood San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts opened its latest location in historic San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, on February 8. It features 67 guestrooms and suites (starting at $295 per room), as well as the Artesana Rosewood Residences—a limited collection of two- to five-bedroom villas (from approximately $600,000)—whose residents will have full access to resort amenities, including the spa, children’s program, pools, expansive gardens, event space, and an amphitheater. Among the five dining options are a rooftop tapas bar and La Cava, a wine room housing 2,000 bottles, which can accommodate six to 14 guests for dinners and tastings. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city of San Miguel de Allende is a mosaic of churches, museums, galleries, and mercados, and is home to the Instituto Allende, school of art and language.
