Sneak Peek: The Tides Beach Club in Kennebunkport

The Tides Beach Club opens May 26 in a renovated century-old property that features 21 rooms, plus two suites furnished by the Jonathan Adler company, with ocean views and private decks. The hotel has its own beach, and guests have access to its nearby sister property, Hidden Pond, which offers a new restaurant, pools, a spa and wellness center, and resort activities. The Tides restaurant offers freshly caught seafood and locally grown vegetables served on the front veranda or in the lobby. Rates for Memorial Day weekend range from $225 to $525, and for July and August from $300 to $725.  (207.967.3757, www.tidesbeachclubmaine.com)
