Sneak Peek: Uma by COMO, Punakha Valley, Bhutan

Uma by COMO opened in September in the Punakha Valley, Bhutan, joining the brand’s sister property in nearby Paro. It has eight rooms and two villas. Among the features are Bukharian indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge bar specializing in fresh and seasonal ingredients, and COMO Shambhala Retreat, which features a traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath. Activities include hiking, cycling, and white-water rafting in the nearby Mo Chu River. Rooms start at $400 a night. (www.comohotels.com/umapunakha)
