Trekking for Truffles

There’s a new way to experience truffle season at Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan. Guests who stay for three nights from October 1 to November 30 can opt for a unique Truffle Hunting Package and go on a morning hunt through the woods of Roddi, Piedmont, accompanied by trained dogs, to find white Alba truffles. In addition to the hunt, guests are chauffeured in an E-Class Mercedes to the nearby town of Alba, where they can tour the Alba International White Truffle Fair on weekends and visit shops of local truffle hunters. Afterward, there is a complimentary four-course black truffle lunch (white truffles are available for an additional price upon request). The Truffle Hunting Package (approximately $820 per person) includes three nights at the Hotel Principe di Savoia, and limousine service to and from Milan’s city center.
