Corum’s Linear Train of Thought

James D. Malcolmson

Ever since the relaunch of its 1980s classic Golden Bridge model, Corum has turned exhibitionist movement architecture into a brand specialty. Its latest limited edition, the Golden Bridge Panoramique, marries the open, translucent movement bridgework the company has explored for the last few years with its famously linear Golden Bridge layout. The result may be the company’s most spectacularly visible design to date, which incorporates an unfettered flying tourbillon as an extra flourish. Just 10 examples of the rose-gold version ($205,300) will be made. (954.279.1750, www.corum.ch)
