Franck Muller Teams Up with Reggie Jackson

  • Christina Garofalo

Former New York Yankee and avid watch collector Reggie Jackson has partnered with watchmaker Franck Muller to design a limited-edition series of timepieces featuring the sleek Yankee pinstripes on rubber straps. The Reggie Jackson Limited Edition Collection comprises three models: a titanium watch with blue rubber straps bearing the signature pinstripe, $10,300, made in a series of 100; an18-karat rose gold watch with a black rubber strap, $16,000, made in a series of 25; and Jackson’s favorite, a chronograph housed in a titanium case with a blue pinstriped rubber strap, $20,300, of which 25 pieces will be made.

The Yankee spirit is also celebrated with pinstripes emblazoned on the bezel of the titanium timepieces, and bear Jackson’s number, 44, in place of the fourth numeral. In addition, each watch is engraved with Jackson’s pet moniker, Mr. October, on the back, and comes with a Franck Muller certificate of authenticity signed by Jackson, as well as a Major League baseball. The collection is sold exclusively at Tourneau stores. (800.348.3332, www.tourneau.com)
