Bardessono’s Postholiday Food-and-Wine Getaway

To avoid the postholiday blues, the Bardessono Hotel and Spa in Yountville, Calif., is offering a food-and-wine getaway for 12 couples from January 24 to 27. Priced at $8,500 per couple, the four-day package includes private tastings and dinners at nearby Tusk Estate, Lokoya at Cardinale, Constant, Ovid Vineyards, Ma(i)sonry, and Bardessono’s house restaurant, Lucy. A sample itinerary might include an off-road tour of a vineyard followed by lunch at the estate, where guests will taste and learn about the characteristics of elevated-climate wines. Dinner would be at the Cardinale guesthouse on the vineyard property, showcasing seasonal ingredients like red Russian kale and caramelized Walla Walla onions served with wine pairings led by the head winemaker, Chris Carpenter.
