Whether or not 2009 is the best vintage yet produced in Burgundy may be a point enthusiasts and critics argue for decades to come—assuming, of course, that another similarly phenomenal vintage does not appear in the meantime. All we can know for certain now is that this grand cru Chardonnay brims with elegant mineral and white peach notes and delivers a fresh, viscous finish. ($90)
