FrontRunners: Spanish Class

The Omas Le Citta Granada (www.omas.com) is the sophomore entry in the Italian pen company’s newest series, which pays tribute to the world’s great cities. The pen’s cotton-resin barrel is decorated with arabesque patterns similar to the ones that adorn the ancient Andalusian fort of the Alhambra. The standard version of the pen is priced at $2,900 for a roller ball and $3,300 for a fountain pen. A special edition consisting of only 12 roller balls and 12 fountain pens is crafted from 18-karat gold and has diamonds set in the clip. The prices of those pens are available upon request.
