The Cessna Aircraft Company delivered its first Citation CJ4 (www.cessna.com)—an eight-passenger, twin-turbine light jet—in April, almost four years after the Wichita, Kan.–based manufacturer announced the model as the newest addition to the CJ line. Aside from the super-midsize Citation Sovereign, the CJ4 is the largest and fastest jet from Cessna. The plane is 2 feet longer than the CJ3+, with room for an extra passenger, and has an additional 6 cubic feet of baggage storage. With the ability to reach 45,000 feet in 28 minutes and speeds beyond 520 mph, the $9 million aircraft makes cross-country flights in a flash.
