The 2015 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible (bentleymotors.com) is the fastest four-door drop-top on the market. Though the car weighs about 6,300 pounds, it has a top speed of 203 mph and accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 4 seconds. Plenty of power is required to move so much weight so fast, and it is provided by a W-12 that produces 626 hp and 605 ft lbs of torque. The Bentley Continental GT engine is paired with a smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission.

The canvas top that covers the cabin of the $257,600 convertible contains sufficient insulation and fits tightly enough to shield passengers from nearly all wind and road noise. When the top is down, a heated steering wheel, heated seats, and the optional heaters that blow hot air from the headrests can keep the GT’s occupants comfortable even in cooler temperatures.
