Tired of hearing that all cars look alike these days? Take a gander at the 2013 BMW 640i Gran Coupe equipped with white-and-brown leather interior as part of the German automaker’s Individual program.

BMW Individual is halfway between a stock offering from a dealer and a full-on bespoke car, built specially by the factory for the customer. This particular Individual package includes an opal-white full leather interior with contrasting stitching and piping in Amaro brown. The dash and door uppers are clad in Amaro-brown leather with white stitching. The steering wheel features white, ash-grained wood (it looks like the interior is fitted with a whitewall tire), which is also used on the center console, dash, and lower door panels. If you want an interior that will turn heads, this is it.

The exterior of the Gran Coupe is a bit more understated, with an unusual matte bronze finish. While the Individual package adds $8,300 to the base sticker of $76,500, other items—like the matte paint scheme ($3,500); a killer Bang & Olufsen sound system ($3,700); the driver-assist package with lane-departure and blind-spot warnings ($3,800); and adaptive drive, active steering, and multicontour seats ($5,550 together)—help push the price to over $106,000. Even the wood-inlay steering wheel ($850) and ceramic-finished controls ($650) are extra options. But the result is a car you won’t see everyday. (www.bmwusa.com)
