(Austin, Texas – April 23, 2014) – In the same way Virtual Tours modernized long-distance real estate transactions, the automotive (VIA) Virtual Inspection App will take collector car purchasing to the technology era. In an era where collector car purchases have become a means for tangible investments, Motostalgia, one of the world’s leading collector car catalog auction companies, announced the launch of the Motostalgia (VIA) Virtual Inspection App – the first app to allow the consumer to immerse in interactive 360 degree virtual inspection, review detailed car specs and view the history of each car. In accordance with the upcoming auction in Seabrook, Texas (just south of Houston) on May 2, the 85-plus cars obtained for Keels & Wheels Concours d’ Elegance are viewable on the app.
The first of its kind, the iOS7® (VIA) developed by Collector Car IQ, LLC, an Austin, Texas based technology company, is optimized for iPhone 5 and is compatible with the iPad, iPod Touch and the iPhone. With a touch of your fingers, you can rotate the car in your screen, as well as zoom in and pan out on the vehicle. The app also allows the user to view by event and sort through the cars by list, year and make/model.
The estimated price, VIN, mileage, and an extensive history of the vehicle are also
included for all of the procured cars such as the 2008 Bugatti Veyron, 1960 Maserati Birdcage, 1957 Porsche Speedster, 1968 Shelby GT500, etc. The app also communicates with Facebook and Twitter, which permits the user to share favorite cars with their followers and friends. The Android version is set to release later this year.
“Motostalgia is proud to be in the cutting edge of automotive offering technology, we are the first collector car auction house to offer this innovative service,” said Motostalgia Founder Antonio Brunet. “Consignors, bidders and car lovers alike have verified that our 360 virtual inspection application (VIA) provides a valuable service – not to mention, it’s a lot of fun!”
The free app is available for download in the iTunes store,
