Claydon Reeves, the British design firm behind the 50-foot concept cruiser Aeroboat, has shed light on plans for its new 361-foot superyacht Radiance. In line with its name, the more than $225 million yacht features a cantilevered superstructure that appears to radiate outward from bow to stern. The resulting ripple effect is accentuated by elevated glass walls that arc around the deck’s 42-foot-long swimming pool and the semicircular lounge areas at its flanks. The pool has a swim-up bar at the shallow end and three large windows set in its floor that add aquatic ambiance to the club located a deck below.

Other outdoor amenities include a transom that lowers to form either a 20-seat dining area or a sizable bathing platform. Two 39-foot guest tenders, two 26-foot crew tenders, and numerous water toys are housed behind fold-down doors on either side of the yacht’s aft section. While the main deck serves as the social hub for guests, the foredeck is focused on the owner, featuring a private relaxation space with a hot tub, and a helipad for quick getaways.

The Radiance’s spacious saloon is spread over two levels, with a grand staircase leading to a mezzanine library. Past the saloon, a dining room with fold-down bulwark balconies accommodates 26 guests and extends the entire width of the nearly 60-foot beam. The main deck also houses the lobby, gym, and wellness center. Located a level up, the sundeck is equipped with another bar and hot tub.

Guest accommodations comprise five VIP cabins with fold-down balconies on the main deck; a 36-foot-wide master suite with floor-to-ceiling windows, two bathrooms, and two family rooms; and an additional guest bedroom on the owner’s deck.

Traveling at 16 knots under hybrid diesel-electric propulsion and guided by azimuth thrusters, the yacht will have a range of 5,500 nautical miles. (claydonreeves.com)
