Hodgdon’s Latest Limousine Tender Is a Tony Transport

Ready to debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September, this versatile beauty has power and panache…

A sibling to the twin tenders aboard Steven Spielberg’s superyacht Seven Seas, the new 34.5-foot limousine model from Maine-based boatbuilder Hodgdon, is set to receive the star treatment itself when debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show, September 23 through 26. Conceived by Michael Peters Yacht Design, the carbon-composite cruiser is the latest of 10 Venetian series tenders from Hodgdon since 2011, and the 422nd boat built during the company’s 200-year history.

Able to comfortably carry 11 passengers, the tender features a salon hardtop on hydraulic risers to increase headroom, facilitate boarding, and accommodate 360-degree views for those onboard. Depending on weather conditions, the large side windows can also be automatically lowered or raised for optimal comfort. Optional leather and wood-veneer interior treatments and stainless-steel exterior hardware add distinctive touches to an already sophisticated appearance, while a high-definition entertainment system, built-in bar, and climate control ensure a perfect party environment. When it comes to power, however, the boat is all business, with a Volvo Penta D-6 DPH sterndrive making possible a top speed of 34 knots.

The tender will be available for showings—by invitation—a week before the Monaco show, with first deliveries made after the regatta of Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez that runs from September 26 through October 4. (hodgdonyachts.com)
