Superyacht Coral Ocean Available for Charter for the First Time This Summer

Known for building some of the world’s largest superyachts, German shipyard Lürssen will present the 238-foot Coral Ocean (formerly Coral Island) this season at the Monaco Yacht Show, just in time for its very first charter season. Originally launched in 1994 (one of the first yachts of its time equipped with a gym and spa), the boat was designed by stylist and interior designer Jon Bannenberg, who envisioned Coral Ocean’s sleek lines and Polynesian-inspired decor. The ship, which can reach a top speed of up to 17.4 knots, has thus far been solely owned. However, after spending the winter at the Lürssen shipyards for maintenance and updates, Coral Ocean will be available for charter for the very first time this summer in the Mediterranean.
