Top 10 Sports and Luxury Cars at the Detroit Auto Show [SLIDESHOW]

JANUARY 21, 2016

Luxury sedans and sports coupes were among the most prevalent trends at this year’s North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Notably, near-luxury brands like Buick, Acura, and Infiniti all made news, but Hyundai really wowed the crowds with the announcement of its stand-alone Genesis brand, which is posed to compete at the top of the luxury-car segment. The spun-off brand will debut with the 2017 G90, to be followed by five other models.

In addition to showing off Robb Report’s own stand at the show, with 12 beautiful examples of superb automotive design, we roved the show floor to get the scoop on the hottest reveals during what is arguably the most important auto show in the United States. Here are our favorites.
