Ford CEO Announces that the New Ford GT Will Race at Le Mans 2016

Ford CEO Mark Fields has helped bring the iconic American carmaker into the 21st century. While the company is feverishly conducting research and development on its autonomous vehicles—including models able to drive in the snow—it is also looking to its past. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous Ford GT40, the company has announced the newest iteration of the Ford GT, which Fields says will race at this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.
