Best of the Best 2011: Business Aircraft: Large: Bombardier Global 5000

Robb Report Private Aviation Advisory Board member Kevin O’Leary recently employed 22 criteria to rate each of the current large-jet models. When finished, he had given the Bombardier Global 5000 (514.861.9481, www.bombardier.com)the highest grade for nearly every one of those criteria. "[The Global 5000’s] cabin, range, and runway performance are all outstanding," rel="nofollow" O’Leary says. He also notes that the aircraft’s 8-?foot-wide cabin accommodates as many as 17 passengers and is almost as spacious as that of Bombardier’s ultralong-range Global Express XRS. When carrying eight passengers, the $44.7 million Global 5000 can travel farther than 5,900 miles nonstop at 561 mph.
