Indeed, the company has done much to improve customer service. AirElite recently launched the first 10-hour jet card in the private aviation industry. Green reports that it is the only company that allows you to choose whether to fly planes of a particular type or a particular size. (Others offer one or the other.) Air­Elite also has diversified and modernized its fleet. The company is one of the first operators to certify the Bombardier Challenger 300 and the ultralong-range Gulfstream G550 for charter use. Overall, its planes range from light jets such as the Raytheon Beechjet 400A and Citation V/Ultra (with prices beginning at $41,400 for 10 hours) to large-cabin jets such as the Bombardier Challenger 604 and Gulfstream G550 (beginning at $102,900 for 10 hours). 

As for the current financial troubles of Delta Air Lines and how its fortunes might affect Delta AirElite, a wholly owned subsidiary that was established in 1984, Green says, “This carrier has been around since 1928 and has a solid reputation for operational integrity. I have no doubt that it will come out on top.
